Design a Book Cover Blogfest

Brenda Drake is hosting Redesign a Book Cover Blogfest with CA Marshall. Or we can design a cover for our own yet to be published book. Fun! My cover is original artwork for my YA urban fantasy.
Head over to Brenda Drake's blog and check out the other participants.

  3. It reminds me of the movie cover for "Big Fish." I think the image works very well with the title.

  4. There's something particularly nice about this. It's very simple and the fact that the genre is YA makes it more attuned to the feel of the cover. Well done!

    Thanks for sharing!

  5. Oh I love it. Love the roots and how the butterfly, as the one spot of bright color, can symbolize so many things.

  8. First of all I LOVE your name...

My Italian name is Michele, not it's not Michelle... It's Italian for Michael. BUt I believe it's the same pronunciation.

IT's terrific to meet you. I hopped over from the blogfest.

Your cover is whimsical and awesome....

  11. I'm so sorry for taking this long to comment on your blogfest entry - I was ill over the weekend and have only now felt up to going online.

Your cover is beautiful and unique - it would certainly catch my eye in a book store!

  13. What a wonderful idea! I love how the letters are twisting out like tree roots and branches on your cover. I can't wait to see what some of the other covers look like! :)
